🎙 Splashtalks: Turning Technical Topics into Social Currency

In November 2023, I led the launch of Splashtalks, a podcast by Splashtop exploring the high-stakes world of security and remote access. Aimed at enterprise decision-makers, the show positioned Splashtop as a credible voice in complex conversations—while unlocking major gains in social media reach.

🎯 The Goal
The podcast was designed to hit on multiple fronts:

  • Build brand awareness in enterprise spaces

  • Showcase thought leadership on technical topics

  • Create a content engine for social, video, and email

🛠 The Strategy
We focused on quality and credibility from day one. I worked with expert editors, internal SMEs, and the social team to take Splashtalks from concept to launch, making sure it delivered both in substance and shareability.

Key tactics included:

  • Guest Strategy: Episodes featured subject matter experts who could speak to tough topics like zero trust, endpoint security, and remote access infrastructure.

  • Multi-Platform Distribution: Full episodes were published on YouTube and Spotify, giving us anchor content for each release.

  • Content Atomization: We broke down each episode into short-form clips for Reels, TikTok, and LinkedIn—each tailored with captions and hooks to maximize reach and engagement.

🤝 My Role
I owned the project end-to-end: creative direction, content roadmap, guest coordination, and cross-channel distribution. I also collaborated closely with the social media and content teams to ensure each episode extended well beyond its original format.

💡 Takeaway
In B2B, you don’t have to choose between substance and strategy.
With the right distribution plan, even the most technical conversations can drive real engagement.
